Agreed with Soaring Eagle.
Like what they say, you pay for what you got.
Of course by saying that, everyone has their own priority when doing their purchases as money is limited. Some will spend for quality food & some will spend for quality clothes. It is always about prioritize your spending. For some clothes might be irrelevant for them whether it is new arrivals or old stocks, but for some it meant a huge difference.

One of the things consumers have to understand about "Sales" in most stores is that not all items offered during "Sales" are of the normal standard quality products. It has become common practice for stores to bring out from their storage a bunch of sub-standard quality goods (same brand but poorer quality - in terms of materials and workmanship)to be offered as "Discounted Items" during sales. These items would be kept back after the promotional sales period. Among the stack of items for sales, one may occasionally find some happy items - original quality product with actual reduced price; of course these could be remaining few, odd size or odd color, but it fits you it will be a good buy.
Most new arrivals, will not be given any discount during sales. If they do, the most is 10% off.
Generally, most of us don't like the feeling of being cheated; thinking that we have actually bought the original quality product with reduced price when it is not. But again if you know the norm of sales & promotion, you should not feel cheated or regret. You must be a willing buyer.
